WOW—what a whirlwind this weekend was! I am still in awe of the incredible connections I made, the beautiful people I met, and the sheer amount of kindness, creativity, and talent packed into one convention space. From authors to vendors to attendees, it was truly inspiring to be surrounded by so many passionate, gracious, and supportive people.

It was such an honor to share this space with everyone. The energy was contagious, and day one set the tone for what turned out to be an absolutely unforgettable event. By day two, the excitement only grew—more authors, more attendees, and of course the buzz of Abby Jimenez being in the house!

A few personal highlights and shout-outs:

• Katie at Nicole’s Downtown Salon & Spa: thank you for helping me look and feel my best. I received countless compliments on my hair, and it gave me that extra boost of confidence.
• Kim: my personal assistant extraordinaire who kept everything running at my table while I networked, shopped, and soaked in the experience. You made the day so much smoother!
• Author S.Z. Putnam: what a genuine and inspiring fellow author. I’m so grateful for the chance to connect, exchange stories (and books!), and encourage one another on our writing journeys.
• Bee Batty Studio (CC): your work is stunning, and I’m so glad I stumbled across your booth. Creative vendors like you add such a unique vibrancy to conventions like this.
• Author Tracy Chipman: our serendipitous meeting was such a gift—I’m grateful our paths crossed in the most perfect way.
• My writing group gals: thank you for your company, laughter, and for making the experience even more fun. Sharing this adventure with you was a highlight all on its own.

This weekend reminded me why I do what I do—not just the writing itself, but the connections, the conversations, and the shared passion for stories. Thank you to everyone who made this experience so special. My heart is so full, and I can’t wait to carry this energy into the next adventure.
